لَيلٍ على ظَلْمَةٍ وَ النُّجومُ تَبرِقُ
قَلْبِي عَلَى حُبِّكَ يَتَشَوَّقُ وَ يَتَرَقَّقُ

يا مَنْ سَحَرَتْنِي عُيُونُكَ السَّوْدَاءُ
وَ أسرَتْنِي كَلِماتُكَ الْعَذْبَاءُ

أَنَا الَّذِي أَضْنَى بِالشَّوْقِ وَ الْوَلَهْ
وَ أَنْتِ سُكُونِي وَ أَمَلِي وَ نَهْيِي وَ رَحْتِي

مِنْ غَيْرِكِ لا أَعْرِفُ الطَّرِيقَ إِلَى السَّعَادَةِ
أَنْتِ النُّورُ فِي لَيْلِي وَ الْبَهَاجُ وَ الرَّحَامَةِ

يا حُبِّي الَّذِي لا يَزُولُ مِنْ قَلْبِي
أَنْتِ الْعُمْرُ الْجَدِيدُ وَ أَنَا لَكِ أَسْيرِي

و إنْ طالَ الْبُعْدُ بَيْنَنَا فَقَلْبِي لَدَيْكِ
وَ أَنَا بِشَوْقِي إِلَيْكِ أَتَأَلَّقُ وَ أَتَمَنَّى

Translation :

A night cloaked in darkness, and the stars glitter,
My heart yearns and trembles for your love.

O you, whose dark eyes have bewitched me,
And whose sweet words have captivated me.

I am he who is consumed by longing and passion,
And you are my tranquility, my hope, my limit, and my path.

Without you, I do not know the way to happiness,
You are the light in my night, the joy, and the mercy.

O my love that does not fade from my heart,
You are the new life, and I am your captive.

And if distance lengthens between us, my heart is with you,
And I, with my longing for you, shine and wish.
