لا تُسْكِتْ صَوتَ الشَّكِّ فِي قَلْبِكَ، يا صاحِبِي،
فَهُوَ نَبْضُ الحَياةِ، وَهُوَ بِرْقَةِ اللَّيْلِ، نُورُ الصُّبْحِ.

يَسْأَلُ عَنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، لا يَقْبَلُ الْجَوابَ العَامَّ،
يُنْقِبُ عَنِ الحَقِيقَةِ، وَلَا يَرْضَى بِالظَّاهِرِ الْبَاطِلِ.

ثَوْرَةُ الشَّكِّ، يا صاحِبِي، لَيْسَتْ تَمَرُّداً عَلَى الْعَقْلِ،
بَلْ هِيَ بُدْءُ الْإِبْدَاعِ، وَهِيَ قُوَّةُ الْإِنسَانِ الْعَظِيمِ.

تُحَرِّكُ الأَفْكَارَ، وَتُنْشِطُ الْأَرْوَاحَ، وَتُبْدِعُ الْعُلُومَ،
تُنْهِي الظُّلُمَاتِ، وَتُنْشِرُ أَنْوارَ الْعِلْمِ وَالْحُكْمِ.

لا تَخَشَى الشَّكَّ، فَهُوَ صَدِيقٌ وَفِيٌّ، مُسَاعِدٌ كَرِيمٌ،
يُنَقِّيكَ مِنَ الْخُرافَاتِ، وَيُقَرِّبُكَ مِنَ الحَقِّ الْقَرِيبِ.

فَاشْكُكْ، وَاسْأَلْ، وَتَحَقَّقْ، وَاجْعَلِ الشَّكَّ هُدَىً لَكَ،
وَتَذَكَّرْ أَنَّهُ مِنْ دُونِ الشَّكِّ، لا يُوجَدُ تَطَوُّرٌ، وَلَا نُورٌ.

Translation :

Don[SQ]t silence the voice of doubt in your heart, my friend,
For it is the pulse of life, and like the gentle night, the light of dawn.

It questions everything, it doesn[SQ]t accept general answers,
It digs for the truth, and doesn[SQ]t settle for the apparent falsehood.

The revolution of doubt, my friend, is not a rebellion against reason,
But the beginning of creation, and the strength of the great human being.

It moves thoughts, energizes spirits, and creates sciences,
It ends darkness, and spreads the lights of knowledge and wisdom.

Don[SQ]t fear doubt, for it is a loyal friend, a generous helper,
It purifies you from superstitions, and brings you closer to the near truth.

So doubt, ask, and verify, and make doubt your guidance,
And remember that without doubt, there is no progress, and no light.
