ColorZilla is a free browser extension (not a standalone Windows program) that[SQ]s available for Chrome, Firefox, and other browsers. It[SQ]s primarily used for
picking colors from your web browser
. It allows you to :
* Eyedropper:
Select a color from any point on your screen. You can then see that color[SQ]s hex code, RGB values, and other color representations.
* Color Picker:
A more precise color picker that lets you adjust hue, saturation, and lightness values (HSL) or red, green, and blue values (RGB).
* Palette:
Create and save palettes of colors for later use.
* Color History:
Keep track of colors you[SQ]ve recently sampled.
While it[SQ]s a browser extension, you use it *with* a Windows computer (or any computer running a supported browser). There isn[SQ]t a separate Windows application called ColorZilla. You install it within your browser just like any other extension.
