"Save as PDF" in Microsoft Office for Windows is a built-in feature that allows you to export or save your documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as Portable Document Format (PDF) files. This creates a version of your file that[SQ]s independent of the original Office application, preserves formatting, and can be viewed on almost any device with a PDF reader. It essentially creates a read-only copy (unless you use tools to edit the PDF afterward).
