Sonos for Mac isn[SQ]t a standalone application like, say, iTunes. Instead, Sonos functionality on a Mac is accessed through the
Sonos app
, which is available for download from the Mac App Store or the Sonos website.
This app allows Mac users to :
* Control their Sonos system:
Browse and play music from various sources (streaming services, your computer[SQ]s library, etc.) on all your Sonos speakers.
* Manage their Sonos setup:
Add new speakers, group speakers together, adjust volume, and configure settings for their entire Sonos system.
* Discover and play music:
Access music services integrated with Sonos, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and many others.
In short, the Sonos app for Mac acts as the central control point for managing and interacting with a Sonos multi-room audio system. There isn[SQ]t a separate "Sonos for Mac" entity; the app *is* the Mac experience.
